Started as a way to keep in touch with far away family and friends, the soapmaking quickly overtook the kitchen and so, needed a way to "fly" (sorry) out the door.

Our name? Love natural soaps + Love birds.  (Cool BOLD colors 😉).

SOAPBIRDS embraces the rich resources found in nature and features them in our nurturing handcrafted soaps, skin care and other soul satisfying products. Our soaps contain a variety of natural vegetable oils, luxurious milks and rich butters, most notably, shea butter!

Shea butter is that extra “something-something” that when added to soap, increases the nourishment and moisture enhancing “factors” of the soap! Shea butter has a high amount of what’s known as “unsaponifiable compounds”, which in regular talk means: that more of the buttery, nourishing and moisture rich shea butter survives the soapmaking process and so is  delivered directly to the skin. Shea butter is also high in skin loving and nourishing vitamins, namely vitamins E, A and C. These act as antioxidants to reduce the negative effects of free radicals on your skin. As you can see, we love shea butter!!!

Our natural soaps, when scented, use plant based essential oils. No synthetic fragrances, detergents or preservatives are ever used, unless requested.

Our soaps are made and cured in small batches to ensure that you receive a mild bar that cleanses + rejuvenates your skin! We strive to use creative handmade packaging that is eco-friendly, recycled OR recyclable.
